Suvekool

2018

TRAINERS

The trainers of children’s rights are experts from our Finnish partner organisation Taksvärkki due to the fact how Finnish educational system is top notch. So during this course we’ll learn from the best of the best and they will share their material “Oikeesti” and how to implement it in the educators everyday work. It includes examples and stories from the global South, and one of the main goals is that people understand that all children have equal rights regardless of where they are born. Trainer of women’s rights is an expert from Estonian Kodanikuhariduse Keskus (Civic Education Center). She has concentrated on women’s rights in her work with history, philosophy and ethics. Coming from pedagogical background, the expert shall show methods and ideas on how to integrate human rights concept into everyday teaching. In the 3-day long training 35 teachers and youth workers from Estonia and Latvia will engage in mutual learning and exchange of experiences in how to teach and tackle the topic of children’s and women’s rights.
